The overall goal with The Stars and the Moon was to produce complex arrangements in combination with an engaging and lively performance.This album was recorded in unusual locations using a laptop and a commercial-grade audio interface. The goal of the recording process was to push the production out of established techniques and into creativity. Xylophone, thick effected guitars, layered vocal tracks, jazz tones and percussive scratches all lead the listener effortlessly between melody, harmony and rhythm.
