The Lithuanian School of Washington D.C. is an academic based Saturday school for elementary, middle school and high school students who want to learn to read, write and speak the Lithuanian language. Located in Northern Virginia (NOVA) the teachers are fluent Lithuanian language speakers and are experienced in instructing Lithuanian as a second language. In addition to Lithuanian language instruction, the curriculum emphasizes Lithuanian dance, Lithuanian music and Lithuanian culture. Parents who want to insure that their children learn about their Lithuanian heritage will find a fun, caring academic environment. The school will offer lessons in Lithuanian language, geography, heritage, history, music, arts, and culture. Our organization is dedicated to promoting cultural fluency, especially among Lithuanian students living in the United States, preparing them for reintegration into schools in their home country of Lithuania.
