Mitch Marner

Mitch Marner was born in Markham, Ontario on May 5, 1997. He spent his early childhood years in Thornhill Toronto. He started playing youth hockey with the Clarington Toros of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OHMA) at the age of seven. After a year with the Toros, Marner joined the Whitby Wildcats who are also in the OHMA. He played for the Wildcats for two years before moving on to the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) by joining the Vaughn Kings. It was at the Kings that Marner won a GTHL title.
