MIDDLE AGE CRAZY OR SOMETHING ELSE? Hi everyone! I’m Kim Andersen the designer and keeper of this little homesteading corner of the internet. I have always dreamed of owning my own little slice of land in the middle of nowhere. My parents were raised on farms and couldn’t wait to get away from them when they got married. My favorite memories of my childhood were spent on my grandpa’s or friend’s farms. Farm life is in my soul, my very being. Since I was little, I have always wanted cows, horses, donkeys, chickens…you name it! My parents did everything they could to try to send me to law school or anything…other than farming! It took a LONG time to get here and many twisted roads, but I made it! Finally! Along one of those twisted roads, I met my husband, Greg.
