In addition, an internationally recognised accounting firm will audit the fund.A public-private partnership and charitable investments approved by the government can be funded through this fund, established under section 42(2) of the Finance Administration Act 2006.An application for citizenship under the NDF investment option requires a one-time payment of US$100,000 to the National Development Fund.No additional NDF contribution is required for spouses, dependent children, and dependent parents over 58 years of age included in the primary applicant's application. However, government and due diligence fees will be incurred for each individual.It is relatively straightforward to apply for citizenship by investment. Application forms are available from an authorized agent licensed by the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU).After submitting your application, you must pay the total due diligence fees and 10% of the government processing fee. You will be required to pay the balance of the government processing fees, passport fees, and contributions once you receive a letter of approval. Within 30 days of receiving the letter of approval, you must pay the fees directly to the Unit and contribute to the Government Special Fund.In addition to the passport application and any accompanying documentation, the primary applicant and family members will receive a certificate of citizenship registration once it is received. Passport(s) and Citizenship Certificate documents(s) will be forwarded to you by your authorized agent/representative.When you visit Antigua and Barbuda for the first time, you can take the oath or affirmation of allegiance or visit an Embassy, High Commission, or Consular Office to fulfill the requirement.National Development Fund ContributionsA.
