Brand is named Alicja Getka lab, was born in Stockholm, now raised in Warsaw. AGL has it’s background in industrial design, as I am a professional industrial and visual communication designer, educated in european design schools in Warsaw/PL and Milan/IT. Therefore I was always more connected to the design world more than to fashion one, which is a big factor when it comes to designing new piece.History of the brand started over 6 years ago in Stockholm where I was working as a product designer and couldn’t find new wallet that would fit all my needs, that is how first product was born, before I was even considering creatinga brand. Under AGL brand we create not ordinary, beautiful yet practical pieces for people who value handmade quality and unique, well thought out design. Current collection of our accessories is based on craft and simple forms, in which our prime aspect - funcionality goes along with aesthetics, interesting solutions and high quality of handmade production. AGL currently consists 3 lines: one line is crafted from genuine italian leather, one is vegan - made out of pineapple leaf fibres and our newest third line is our zero waste biodegradable line, in which we are recycling our production scrapes and creating a new material
