This artists will thrive outside of record deals. I believe that put your money where your mouth is because a lot of people feel like free rips from a Bandcamp downloader will satisfy their needs or a simple stream on the site, unfortunately for you, you will recieve a temporary high of endorphins and know that you don't own the essential wav files to be able to critically play and critique the music. The currency of listening to music and sharing it has become based on the gratification of self on platforms like tiktok and any platfom with a reel or short, we see people scrambling documenting creating content all to be the same tasteless repetitive wormhole of spam methodologies. I think people say everyone deserves music, but artist also deserve to be paid and in this unfair climate I am protesting with inflated costs for quality to gatekeep and create a sanctuary for my self, my listeners and fellow artists, we need structure so I hope this inspires you to raise your prices and to create boundries against corporations that are abusing our intellectually property along with our everyday experiences. Now when you hear this art, realize the impact you just made on the planet while streaming vs supporting an artist, and decorating your time for your pleasure while the artist may struggle in reality...
