Angelo RomanoBorn 1982 in Sicily, Angelo Romano is a singer-songwriter with a totally personal approach to music and arts. His life is kind of a weird storybook, with several cities all around where he spent some time and lived his life: from Pisa to Florence, from Ottawa to Amsterdam, from Groningen to Berlin, Utrecht and then Barcelona, where he is currently based.The Sicilian EP, released 25 February 20221. Brexit Guy"The Sicilian EP" comprises four unreleased songs in Sicilian language from Angelo Romano.Three of them were recorded in 2020 as part of a ukulele-driven album attempt that was eventually aborted due to the pandemic, whereas another one (La Strata) was written and recorded in a matter of days in the summer of 2021.Each song is a story and a cautionary tale involving a different subject: from the loverman/fisherman of "Piscaturi", to the homesick Sicilian of "Arancina", to the unrequited lover of "La Strata", and the Brexit supporter who ended up being refused entry because of his love of frontiers in "Brexit Guy".
