ArcemArcem is a quartet consisting of Dave Mckie, Scott Kooima, Matthew Pressel, and Babe Woodward. All of which who have been playing music in the greater Midwest area for over collectively 20 years. Arcem draws inspiration from such genres but not limited to, Post-Metal, Post-Rock, Progressive Metal, and Drone. It is a journey in which the band leads you down from its soaring highs and beautiful cleans to its devastating lows and crushing repetition. Each member brings their own specialty to the table to make this album a harmonious conquest. Whether it be the guitars weaving and intertwining with each other, the bass’ unrelenting groove and destruction, or the drums calculated and articulated force.
