Billy CastleBilly Castle is a fictional character from the comic book Junk Punk. He was abducted by aliens but escaped using a time machine he stole from their ship. Billy traveled back to 2016 in an attempt to stop the end of the world. Now he travels around the country, spreading the word of our impending doom. Junk Punk is the story of a dilapidated world where the majority of cities have nearly all become scrapyards and landfills. In this world, corporations and the government have become one, and every sub category of industry has been monopolized into individual owners; think "The 1%" to the extreme. For example, the global meat industry is all owned by one company with a single person in charge; same with the gas industry, the clothing industry, etc… They call themselves "The CEOs", but they are actually industrial dictators. Our story focuses on the Music Industry which has been monopolized by "The Accountant" (A cross between Jimmy Iovine and Steve Jobs and The Emperor from star wars). The lack of competition and regulation obviously leads to a lack of quality in product which in turn, leads to a lack in quality of life for the people. In this 1% vs the 99% scenario, portrayed to an extreme, the people of 'Junk Punk' are in for some dark times unless someone starts making some changes.
