Black CabinetFormed in 2000 in Melbourne by Sonke Rickertsen (guit, percussion, b-vox), Mick Williams (lead-vox), Tim Hilton (trombone, guit, keys, vox), Mick Holt (bass, vox), Jason Montero (trumpet, piano-accordion) & Wesley Rush (drums), recorded 4-track EP 'Seine's Love', played numerous shows, disbanded 2001. Pistol In My PocketInspired by Scott Walker, Emir Kusturica, James Bond, Mariachi, and anything related to gypsy-music, this EP was recorded and mixed over only 3 days. A 5th song didn't make it onto the disc - due to budget retraints - but will see the light of the day eventually. A sort of raw wedding band playing originals the simple aim was to make people forget themselves and shake their bottoms in turkish delight.
