The album features chants for the goddesses Durgā, Lakṣmī and Sarasvatī, with additional mantras for Gaṇeśa, the Remover of Obstacles, and a Peace chant. Ian Boccio and Stephanie Kohler are joined on this work by electric guitarist Ben Farmer, who offers a whole new layer of sonic textures to Blue Spirit Wheel’s sound. Guest musicians from several of Atlanta’s kirtan bands round out the lineup. Jaya Mā!
