It was originally written for week number 19 (May 7th, 2006), theme: "cabin across the creek." I just had it sitting around on a piece of paper until 2009 when an incentive to record it came about. It was specifically recorded to be included on a compilation of mostly Central Valley musicians called Portraits, 32 Singers, 32 Songs, put together by Greg Edwards of Off the Air productions.
