絵本を持ち歩くような布をコンセプトに草花、鳥、動物などの、自然から、物語のある模様を描いています。【ブロックプリントとは】木版に染料を乗せ、一押し一押し木版を手で押して染めていく技法です。木版を彫ることから、全工程が手仕事のため、根気と技術のいる技法。現在は、ほぼインドにしか残っていない手仕事。cottind オリジナルの図案から木版を彫っていただき、インドのブロックプリント工房にてひとつひとつ染めていただいています。手仕事ならではの素朴な温もり。絵本をまとうような、暮らしを彩る布を目指しています。http://www.cottind.net/
