Carefully pruning and listening to the sounds to sharpen a feeling and a vision. A vision that had change more than a few times during the process of creating these recordings! One thing is for sure, I knew I wanted for this album, not only, to sound different to my previous works; but I came to realize that if there was only one emotion that I wanted to ring true on this project, it was optimism. As I continued to work on Starburst, the inspiration I had to create a collection of songs that conveyed a positive emotion only grew stronger with time. When I was able to finally finish this record; I personally felt like I had achieved this vision. There are quite a few people that I would like to thank for this record. First, my family and friends for always being there to keep me focused and in good company. I would also like to thank my music mentors over the years past and present; they helped push this album over the top! Lastly, thank you to anyone who has ever supported Crane Song in any capacity over the years; for you have kept this all going in one way or another.
