Gone were the deep currents of tradition and community, replaced by movement and alienation. Douglas took sounds from this new environment and crafted “The Tokyo School Of Electronics,” a 45-minute aural journey through the Japanese megalopolis that also pays respect to classic prog synth groups like Tangerine Dream and Pink Floyd, if not exactly in sound then in spirit.BIO:Adam Douglas is an electronic musician with 24 years of releases under his belt. He records dream pop as Kemek, does ambient as Deeper Than Space, and krautrock-inspired music as dechirico. He is currently based out of Tokyo, Japan. This is Douglas’ second release as dechirico for Jacktone Records.
