Less eloquently put one could say that the band draws inspiration from and combines everything from action and stoner rock, heavy and doom metal and horror film music.The seed of what became the 5-piece Digger Burns was sown in 2007. From then on the band churned out heavy riffs and stoned grooves from the pre-historic caves in Midsommarkransen, Stockholm. From 2009 to 2012 Digger Burns played the Stockholm club circuit, as well as other places around Sweden. The show at Åsele marknad in 2010 was one of the standout highlights.Unfortunately all good things come to an end and the band ceased to exist in 2012 due to the very tragic loss of singer Jimmi Hård. The album Diggin' and Burnin' is a collection of songs recorded in different places during the band's career. It is first and foremost meant as a tribute to the fantastic, one of a kind frontman Jimmi Hård!All profits from sales of this album will be donated to Jimmi's family.
