I am a California Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am a supervisor at the Department of Children and  Family Services in Los Angeles County. I am a proud mom.I am a community leader.I'm a fighter to promote SAFETY in WVUSD. I am a skilled decision-maker and team player, a public-education advocate, a vital link between community, school district, and policy makers. As an Asian immigrant, I have worked for private sectors and public sector in the last 20 years. I have been a social worker, program director,   administrator, shareholder and supervisor at various agencies. I have volunteered for elementary school, middle school and high school  in Walnut Valley Unified School district since my son was enrolled in the school district in 2011. I have worked as a president/vice president for Chinese American Parents Association in the last 4 years. Vote for Dr Zhao 4 WVUSD!More0Comments Support Us TodayWhat have I done for the community?I have volunteered at numeral schools in Walnut Valley Unified School District since my child was enrolled at Westhoff Elementary School in 2011. I have participated in monthly coordinating council meetings to address the communities'  voices and work together with other team members on school districts strategic plannings. I brought in extra support from outside donors to Walnut High School. I have founded a Youth Committee under Chinese American Parents Association WHS. With the board members' support, we have successfully organized Tutoring programs, Fold a wish program, Plogging team, Animal Care team, Farmers ' Garden, Scholarship program for seniors and Presidential Voluntary Services award, etc. We have provided weekly educational seminars to our parents and students. We have supported WVUSD's planning and development. We have donated PPE to Walnut High School and Walnut City for tackling COVID-19 from the beginning of the pandemic.
