The collaboration took place at The Sitka Centre for Art and Ecology, Oregon.Every sound in the piece is a recording of Humpback Whale vocalisations recorded by Fred Sharpe in the waters of Alaska and Hawaii, performed and arranged by Felix Prater using a midi keyboard. No other instruments were used to create the music.All of the donations to purchase the album go to The Alaska Whale Foundation to support their conservation and scientific research.
