Have I Ever Told You?Finch is the debut album from the band Finch, a group created by Alexander " Finch" Harper for the recording and performance of the album."Finch" was written over 5 months while Alex studied Contemporary Music Composition at Selkirk College and was produced and mastered at Alex's home studio.Taking inspiration from the "anything goes" feel of 70's prog rock and fusion, on early albums by Genesis and King Crimson, "Finch" creates surging, harmonious compositions as a backdrop to intense storytelling. Alex has been trained in a wide variety of styles pertaining to guitar, which he says was instrumental in creating the album. "It all starts with one riff... then I just sit down and see what happens"Finch was released eponymously on June 6th, 2018
