EpilogInteger to Anything is an edit of several live improvisations with self-programmed instruments - with PureData as the chosen software.A1 was originally a composition for the experimental shortmovie "Darkness is Darkness" (Director: Griffin LA/Berlin), rearranged by deconstructing it into different pieces and putting them together again, during improvising with the material.The sample material that is used for A2, A3 and B2 – besides the generative modular PureData modules – was recorded in Sweden in December 2011.Me and Ingo Randolf were using contact microphones, pulling and pluging them over, in and onto the frozen sea to get all this amazing richly detailed and dynamic sounds. This enormous natural event, that we have attended, was at least the basis and main inspiration for Integer To Anything.
