Recorded the way music used to be made, Analog.My heart to yours ~RECORDED, MIXED, AND MASTERED ANALOG To me there's more music in the music because it was recorded analog.ANALOG RECORDING MEANS RECORDED TO TAPEThe first time I heard my voice recorded and played back on our Tascam 16 track tape machine I got tears in my eyes. I had always felt that digital recordings were missing something but I wasn’t sure what. When I heard the tape I knew recording to tape was some of the best advice I ever got.We found a time machine and over the course of a year created a small analog recording studio in the back room. The next several years we carefully recorded these beautiful songs to analog tape. The final lead vocals, acoustic guitar, bass, and drums were recorded live on a 1" 16 track tape machine using tube and solid state gear. Because we recorded live, we were able to really connect as we played and sure enough, magic happened. We later added overdubs of keyboard, horns, percussion, and background vocals. There was a limit to 16 tracks instead of unlimited tracks. It helped create what wanted to come through in simpler terms musically, keep'n it real.We mixed in Northern California at Laughing Tiger Studios. Mastering legend Bernie Grundman, completed the process by adding the delicate final touches.ABOUT ANALOG RECORDINGAnalog recording allows the messages in the songs to be more completely and clearly delivered. In my opinion analog recording reflects the natural harmonic overtones and promotes a warm tonal resonance you just can’t get in digital recording. Recorded in A=432hz.
