Each of our Hansel & Gretel Gnomes are handmade in our workshop beneath our home under the supervision of our 3 small dogs Coco, Henri, and Dodger. Hansel & Gretel Gnomes Co. is a family business with small production runs. Shop owners, Millie & Hans, love of English, German and Scandinavian folklore led to the start of carving and casting small gnomes as Christmas gifts. Clay carving, mold casting, sanding, painting, varnishing, quaffing handcrafted ale and eating a fresh pretzel are a typical day in the Hansel & Gretel Gnomes workshop. Hans & Millie also collect vintage Gnomes out of appreciation for Olde World craftsmanship. They are currently thinking about moving their workshop to the UK to be in the heart of Gnome Country.
