UnseenWith somewhat mixed feelings we present you previously unreleased homeslice songs or what should have been our second album. Songs, we are proud of, feel strongly about and that we like, but at the same time are reminders of the untimely end of Homeslice. We feel it is a shame that only a few of these songs were ever played in front of an audience, and none of them were released on a silver disc (like you did in those days). Luckily, we used Chris’ and Charlies’ studio as a rehearsal room at the time and recorded pretty much everything we wrote back then. These, partly unfinished, recordings eventually should have become our second album. The good news is, they survived on some hard drives and were remembered, mixed and mastered by Chris. Not necessarily with the aim to finally finish what we had started long ago, but as it happens we found ourselves still very much liking those tunes. So now, roughly seven years later, we are happy to just put them out there. Whether there are people who still remember Homeslice or come across our music for the first time, we don’t know. Those who do – enjoy!
