〔ほにや〕は”今”を生きる私達が、日本の文化を身近に感じられ「日本人でよかったな」と思える時間を提案できる斬新な感性を持った「日本の新しい老舗」を目指しています。We, at Honiya, are aiming at creating the atmosphere of a "modern Japanese traditional store" where we, Japanese people, can feel Japanese culture more closely and at the same time share the pride of our culture. ややもすると西洋文化一色になりがちな私たちのライフスタイルの中に自然にとけこむ”普段使いの和”を提案したいと考えています。伝統工芸の着物や帯などは、これからも継承されていくと思いますが、現実には現代の生活の中で、なかなか気軽に使いこなすことはできません。和の持つ美しい色使い、粋な色合わせやかわいい遊び心と風合いを「新しくて　なつかしい　ほっと和む　ちょっと楽しい」を基本コンセプトに、”今”使える形で提案していく事が〔ほにや〕の仕事（使命）だと考えています。”今”を取り入れることを前向きに、日本をもっと楽しみたい。The designs are basically made for natural and casual Japanese style in this modern,more Westernized lifestyle of the country. Beautiful Japanese coloring, sensible but stylish combination colors, and a cute mindset areput into "modern, nostalgic, home style, fun." designs. With these concepts in mind, we intend to design and create useful products our goal.
