imaghoImagho is JL Prades's solo project since 1997. It's wandering between jazz, folk music, post-rock, electronica and musique concrete. Paradis perdu"Soleil" est le huitième album d'imagho, et le premier sur lequel apparaît la voix. Il a été enregistré au Studio Nocturnes entre 2011 et 2014 et devait paraître en 2015 sur un label qui ne le produira finalement pas. En 2018, la décision est prise de le sortir sur le label Images Nocturnes. Tous les titres sont alors remixés, le mastering et l'artwork sont refaits. Le disque parait en janvier 2019.Textes, voix, tous instruments, prise de son, mixage et artwork: JL PradesEnglish: « Soleil » is imagho's eight solo record, eleventh when including the collaborative ones, and the very first to include JL Prades' voice, in a parlé-chanté (should I say TalkOver, or Sprechtgesang?), on every track. Its nine tunes are closer to song form than any other imagho record but still with large dreamy instrumental moments. Full of the lush acoustic and electric guitars you could expect from imagho, « Soleil » is also built on drums, bass, an antique rythm box, ancient synths, analog treatments and field recordings. It's a peaceful yet somewhat worried record, depending on the tracks.
