Bunny Boy - Wild Horses (Prefab Sprout)Gift Exchange was assembled in a grab bag, white elephant fashion where the artists involved all sent in short lists of songs that were all then randomly assigned to other artists to choose one to cover from. A loose experiment that I'd like to think turned out really well! Lots of incredible covers sent in for this thing that I think do justice to the originals while highlighting what's so great about the artists covering them. Proceeds from the comp will all be going towards QTMA PVD, which is a local org based here in Providence that redistributes funds to people in Rhode Island and elsewhere. From the announcement of the comp until its release it will be $5 or more for pre-order; then from 3/25 until April 1st it will be $1 or more; after that it will be totally free!
