為紀念世居蘆洲並熱愛蘆洲的林建生先生，在緬懷先人勤儉持家、忠厚仁慈的德澤，及推愛失學青少年的精神下，先生長男（堉琪）之遺孀林謝罕見，次男林堉璘及三男林榮三於民國六十九年捐資成立「財團法人紀念林建生文化教育基金會」，旨在推廣社區文化教育活動，提升社區美好風氣，並堅示林氏家族根札蘆洲，回饋鄉里，並繼續經營先人遺志的決心。除每年規劃多場音樂會演出、專題講座、畫展外，並定期辦理各項藝文研習課程，活動內容豐富，受到民眾熱烈回響。
