We've both had Long Covid since falling ill with the virus at the end of last year. Antony had symptoms from the start, but Claire was asymptomatic for the first week. As some of the first people in the UK to be referred to the Long Covid clinic, we are keen to share our lived experience of the battle we've fought for treatment and recognition of the condition. We want to raise awareness of Long Covid, share information, resources and tips on how to access pratical and financial support, as well as health and emotional help. We'll share some of the lessons we've learned, what's worked for us, what hasn't, as well as some of the notable successses we've had - there is hope! As an experienced journalist and broadcaster, Antony is happy to consider any requests from the media, or any organisation academic, government or private sector company interested in collaborating, and we are happy to give evidence of our lived experience with Long Covid to parliamentary select committees.
