For this series, I was inspired by still life. Living in Wanaka at the time, my friends had a fruit bowl filled with old, dried up fruit with sharpie quotes written on their skin. An orange said ‘I wish I was a bread’ - mildly hilarious but also relatable, I ran with it. These pieces are for comedic effect but are ambiguous enough for your own interpretation.
