OrbesWith the goal of expanding his palette of musical colours, textures and sound, pianist Guillaume Martineau (Révélation Radio-Canada 2015-16 in Jazz), founded his collective “Lucioles”. Produced by Robbie Kuster (Patrick Watson), the first album of the collective is a creative exploration, audaciously moving away from stylistic traditions. It is a music defined primarily by its influences of cinematic genre, influences by stories and images. In addition to Robbie Kuster on drums, the collective includes Erika Angell (Thus Owls) on vocals, Melanie Bélair (Blood and Glass) on violin, Simon Pagé (Bernard Adamus) on bass, François Jalbert (John Jacob Magistery) on guitar as well as Tonio Morin-Vargas (Bernard Adamus) as recording engineer.
