Inspired and nurtured by his involvement with Great Noise Ensemble (GNE), a young contemporary classical chamber ensemble based in the Washington, DC, area, these four pieces were premiered by GNE during its first three seasons. Several musicians from GNE join Mark and his banjo on this CD.
