The harsh reality of the situation is that it isn’t a recruiter’s responsibility to find your next job for you. It’s their job to find the candidates that fit the roles they are tasked with filling. It can be extremely challenging for a recruiter to meet the needs of their client or employer AND find time to talk with the masses of candidates who are contacting them. This is an age old dilemma that has been frustrating candidates and recruiters for as long as I’ve been in this field and that’s a really long time!The struggle is real. And, it’s the reason we are here. The intent behind Meet Carol for Coffee is to help bridge that gap between job seekers and recruiters by sharing information in an online and interactive conversation format that reaches a broader audience. Think of this forum as a Recruiter’s version of Dear Abby but in an interactive conversation format. In order to be effective, I need your participation!
