秋田市にある「小西堂ももさだ工房」の小西由紀子が作る「土人形」と「土鈴」を販売いたします。石膏型を使ったり手びねりで粘土を成形し、乾かしてから小さな窯で素焼きします。焼き上がった人形に一つずつ丁寧に絵付けをして仕上げます。絵付けには膠で溶いた顔料を使います。昔ながらの方法で水にも熱にも弱いですが、この画材独特の素朴な味わいとしっとりとした手触りが気に入っています。小さくて素朴な土の玩具に北国・秋田の風や光や暮らしの匂いを感じていただけたら嬉しいです。
