Summer RainDuring their 2015 UK Summer Tours, Le Parody (Madrid) and Gizmo Varillas (London) crossed paths on a few occasions around England, and after a few shows sharing the stage, something magical occurred.They both spent several days together to write and record ‘Summer Rain’ at Gizmo’s Studio in East London. A slow, deep, folky pop song happened on the spot -mostly about intimacy and love.Le Parody, strongly influenced by modern Africa, Bollywood music and rave culture, and Gizmo Varillas, coming from the underground UK scene and the sounds of Latin America, have blended her drum machine and anarchic sexy attitude with his sweet yet dark compositions to give us something that felt comfortably familiar and strangely new.A bunch of different, exciting and intriguing vibes by this London-Madrid pop-up duo are flowing into ‘Summer Rain’, the kind of song that most people didn't know could exist.Durante sus respectivos tours de verano por UK en 2015, Le Parody (Madrid) y Gizmo Varillas (London) cruzaron sus caminos en más de una ocasión por Inglaterra, y tras varios shows compartiendo escenario, algo mágico sucedió.Ambos trabajaron durante varios días en los estudios de Gizmo para escribir y grabar ‘Summer Rain’, una suave y profunda melodía que brotó de forma natural entre tintes folk y pop.Le Parody, fuertemente influenciada por la África contemporánea, la música de Bollywood y la cultura rave, junto con un Gizmo Varillas proveniente de la escena underground británica y los sonidos Latinoamericanos, han mezclado las máquinas electrónicas de ella y su sexy y anárquica actitud, con las dulces, estructuradas y oscuras composiciones de él para deleitarnos con algo que suena familiar y extrañamente nuevo al mismo tiempo.Un buen puñado de diferentes, excitantes e inquietantes vibraciones emergen desde ‘Summer Rain’, el tipo de canción que la mayor parte del público ni tan sólo sabía que pudiera existir.
