Nicolene van der Walt is a South African woodworker, artist and designer based in Berlin, Germany. She combines her backgrounds in contemporary art and classical woodworking to create functional, sculptural objects and high-quality, free-standing furniture. She is one of the co-founders of MATTER of COURSE, a Berlin-based collective of eleven independent female designers.
