Claudio Natale (keyboards, electric bass, effects, laptop) and Orfeo Cellura (electric and acoustic guitars, effects) released their first album, "As Coral Dances" in February 2018. Every track is a soundscape, evocative of imaginary panoramas and unknown lands that come to life in these compositions.In a 1922 Fritz Lang silent film, one of the actor affirms something particularly pertinent: "Quickness, it is a kind of modern cannibalism". This duo seeks to distance themselves from that impatience - so prevalent today - by bringing the listener to a sonorous place where time is suspended and dilated. Oceaninae draws inspiration from a variety of sources, from the rarified impressionistic music of early twentieth century France to contemporary, icy sounds from Northern Europe.
