Crossing the LineOne Minus One is a singer-songwriter from Aachen, Germany. In his songs, he mixes elements of electronic dream-pop nostalgia, melancholic reflections, and explosive new wave bits. His new album ‚Joy and Fear‘ is quiet and powerful at the same time, counteracting the miseries of our times with hope and beauty. Droning guitars meet spheric synth-pads, and dreamy melodies attend powerfully humming bass lines.‚Joy and Fear‘ was recorded at One Minus One‘s home studio in the German-Dutch border region during several lockdowns from 2020 to 2022. He started playing under this name in 2010, having recorded numerous albums and played many gigs throughout central Europe and some in the United States so far. In 2020, his eponymous album came out on his netlabel Night Audit Music. Now, with 'Joy and Fear', he opens a new chapter, filled with ten brand new, massive songs.
