Phil, the grooveThis album was produced over 7 years after Ozorio resided in a farm and plant nursery in the south of Brazil and wrote many songs originated from his enthusiasm for the guitar.With the presence of the Quadril String Quartet, singers and composers like Ruth Varella and Fabio Góes, among other artists who interpret instrumental musics and songs alongside a team of guest musicians who take turns in different formations to accompany the striking Ozorio´s guitar.The rural and country atmosphere permeates the repertoire composed of themes that wander between the influences of American folk and Brazilian country music, unfolding on soundtracks until arriving at jazz songs like "Big Town" and "Cocktails of Perfume" both songs composed in partnership with Ruth Varella.In this musical script, where the guitar is the protagonist of the story, the traditional fingerstyle of the delta blues meets the brazilian popular tuning "downstream" of the hillbilly and both sound in full harmony with the classical arrangements of the string quartet, written by Piero Damiani.For Renato Cortez, music producer for the album, "he was always a rocker and played the guitar with distortion, but suddenly this guy appeared, wearing this shirt, playing a folk guitar, he had a beard ... and with this wonderful fingering that I, and none of us who knows Ozorio, had any idea that it was going through his head.
