Paolo PavanPaolo Pavan has been studying music since he was a child and was soon dazzled by jazz music, having as teachers Stefano Sabatini and Riccardo Biseo. Since the late 80s Paolo has been playing with several folk, rock, pop and jazz bands in Rome and collaborated in studio recordings projects. He has played in numerous musical festivals. The compositions was a set of ideas inspired by the repertoire of old and new American Jazz school, expanding the boundaries to reach a very personal and intimate musical discourse.The theme of the album was improvisation. The musicians had interpreted and developed the original ideas while maintaining a good interplay, giving the work a feel of a live performanceIn this album there is a new version of my old tune called "opposites". During a session in studio recording in 2019 we played this song like a joke. Today i decide to publish it
