Heartbreakers2. Lately3. Teach Me How To Not Love You4. Everything“One Man Show” is an acoustic “back-to-basics” release that hinges on minimal arrangement and production to showcase my songwriting. Taken from the catalog of songs to be released on a later album, these tracks are stripped down to just vocals and acoustic guitar, and were chosen to highlight the storytelling and songwriting. “Heartbreakers” opens the record and chronicles fictitious events surrounding a dancer in a now-defunct gentleman’s club. The record moves on to “Lately” (a track titled after it had been written and performed live), which is an account of a relationship seeming to be on the rocks, while “Teach Me How To Not Love You” sees a soul pleading to severe the ties from the addictive toxicity of an expired romance. The record closes with positivity, as “Everything” inspires hope that love find a way. In all, this record is a peak into the mind and heart of a singer coming of age and learning to fall in love with the highs and lows along the way.
