GrubbaA Blind Spot is a space which, for some reason, is out of sight and you don’t know what lies within it, but it might become important to you eventually. We drive comfortably on the motorway and think we have everything under control. Meanwhile, the danger is stuck between the mirrors’ reflections and rushes in towards us on a parallel lane. The distance between bliss and disaster is within arm’s reach. This could be our summary of the past two years, during which this album had been completed. The year 2022 made it even more ominously valid.Pin Park is a duo of Maciek Baczyk and Maciek Polak. The music they create is inspired by the genres like krautrock, ambient, IDM and minimal music. Equally important is the very unorthodox and unusual architecture of the instruments they use - analogue to the core fifty years old synths EMS as well as more recent gear like early samplers and digital effects. Their music isn’t glorifying the analogue gear by any means though. With every record Pin Park takes new directions, exploring the forgotten and obscure niches of electronic music.
