I make work about women’s relationship with their bodies. I like to play with the tensions between freedom and restraint, pain and pleasure - using figures that are falling or flying. I’m curious about what it means to have a body that doesn’t conform to our standardised view of the female form. I’m interested in what it means to use self esteem to combat the ways women’s bodies are weaponised against us. My work celebrates fullness, appetite, sexuality and freedom.
