Ryan Driver can be heard here playing Bass Piano, Realistic MG-1 synthesizer, and singing. The Bass Piano is created by Andrew Wedman and is a piano that has been tuned down a full octave. Lowering the pitch on the Bass Piano creates very loose strings, which alters the timbre of the instrument by increasing the inharmonicity (where the overtones are "out of tune").
