At the time, no-one was releasing music with that sound, so we decided to start releasing unreleased projects from the 90s by Equinox and anything inspired by the 90s sound. The plan was to keep the sister label vinyl only as it was the retro sound that we wanted to be released in the old school way!The numbers pressed on these releases were very limited, which at the time was perfect for what started out as a little side project. However, over time they have become very sought after. We have had constant requests to repress the releases, but with the current state of the vinyl pressing industry and the time pressing records now takes, we are prioritising new projects for vinyl release, rather than repressing older material.Sci Wax Retro started out as just a little side project which we never expected to do so well—once again, many thanks for all the love and support shown for what we are doing!
