Laura Laurens (Bogotá, Colombia) is inspired by her background in Fine Arts. Her work is defined by a distinctly raw approach to design. Laura debuted her label in Paris with a special capsule collection made entirely from the stock of Colombia military fabrics. Each collection intends to be a statement about an issue of our dual world, where contradictions and conflicting concepts fill the scenery, a stage where masculine and feminine elements meet. The brand works with limited editions, oversized silhouettes, sculptural and wrapped-around shapes, always thinking about the intervention of the textiles with a look reminiscent of a painting’s surface.
