In honor of some of my songwriting heroes-- Shel Silverstein, John Prine, Nina Simone-- I tried to say things as directly as I could and just let the songs be what they are. 'Change Your Mind' was written in honor of the countless Black lives that have been lost to police violence. Half of all proceeds will be donated to My Block, My Hood, My City www.formyblock.org.
