He was inspired by a wide variety of music – not only hardcore, but also hip hop, drum'n'bass and techno as well as the soundtracks of movies such as Hellraiser, The Thing, Alien, Blade Runner, The Abyss and other Sci-Fi, Horror and Zombie-flicks.In the 2000s a number of vinyl releases came out under the name Vile Enginez on Sub/Version and Zhark International that established him as a force to be reckoned with in the breakcore and hardest-of-the-hard drum'n'bass scenes.
