AcantoThe Golden Atom was born from exploring new possibilities with the guitar and different tunings in it.SOLS is a project founded in 2018 by Julia Zenteno, Mexico City-based guitarist and composer. In 2013, Julia began writing these pieces on her acoustic guitar, experimenting for the first time with new tunings and later reincorporating standard tuning. SOLS brought this new music to life with the sounds of fretless bass, violin, electric guitar, drums, piano and synthesizers along with the collaboration of guest musicians across countries and continents.This music is subtle and intense, reactivates memories and brings the listener to oneiric states through mesmerizing rhythms and harmonies in a modern, progressive and cinematic sound.
