The name ‘Songkites’ is inspired by Cambodia’s famous musical kites, Kleng Ek, which produce melodic tones as they fly. We imagine each original song here as a ‘songkite’ – released and flying free with the songwriter holding the string. Thank you for supporting original music in Cambodia. All profits from the sale of this CD return to the songwriters and future seasons of Songkites.Songkites គាំទ្រអ្នកនិពន្ធបទចំរៀងខ្មែរក្នុងការសរសេរបទចំរៀង ថត និងចេញនូវបទចំរៀងផ្ទាល់ខ្លួនដែលពោរពេញទៅដោយភាពច្នៃប្រឌិត។ អាល់ប៊ុមនេះ គឺជាលទ្ធផលនៃសិក្ខាសាលារយៈពេលប្រាំមួយខែ និង រយៈពេលថតបទចំរៀងរបស់យុរជនកម្ពុជាដ៏មានសមត្ថភាពចំនួន១២នាក់ ។Songkites មិនមែនជាកម្មវិធីប្រកួតប្រជែងនោះទេ។ វាជាសមាគមន៍គាំទ្រអ្នកនិពន្ធបទចំរៀងដែលជំរុញទឹកចិត្តគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមកក្នុងការបញ្ចេញថ្វីដៃរបស់ខ្លួនតាមរយៈតន្រ្តី។ ឈ្មោះ “Songkites” គឺបានមកពីខ្លែងតន្រ្តីដ៏ល្បីល្បាញក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ហៅថា “ខ្លែងឯក”ដែលអាចបញ្ចេញនូវសាច់ភ្លេងរាល់ពេលដែលវាហោះហើរ។ ពួកយើងប្រៀបធៀបបទចំរៀងដែលបង្កើតឡើងនៅទីនេះដូចទៅនឹងខ្លែងឯក ដែលត្រូវបានបង្ហោះដោយសេរី ដោយមានអ្នកនិពន្ធ ជាអ្នកកាន់ខ្សែរ។ សូមអរគុណចំពោះការគាំទ្របទចំរៀងដែលជាថ្វីដៃនិពន្ធរបស់អ្នកចំរៀងខ្មែរ។ រាល់ថវិកាដែលបានមកពីការលក់ CD នឹងប្រគល់ជូនអ្នកនិពន្ធរបស់ Songkites រួមទាំងការរៀបចំ Songkites រដូវកាលថ្មី។
